Voters approved this millage in 1990. The return on their investment is an award-winning library that has become a civic necessity and transforming force. People of all ages are realizing how much the library offers and helps them in these tough economic times.
Changing Lives – Strengthening Community – A Sound Investment
What: 20-year renewal of the operating millage that will generate approximately $8,350,000 this fiscal year but cost less than 50 cents per day for the owners of an average home in the KPL district.
When: May 5, 2009
